Flying Colours Corp. extends paint shop footprint as work begins on long-term agreement with MHI Canada Inc

Flying Colours Corp., the North American MRO business has commenced work fulfilling a long-term paint contract with MHI Canada Aerospace Inc., (MHICA), which is anticipated to last five years. Under the terms of the partnership, Flying Colours will paint over 40 center fuselage sections of the Bombardier Global 5000/6000 aircraft at the company’s Peterborough, Ontario facility each year. MHICA, a group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, is a Tier 1 manufacturer of major aircraft structures and assemblies based in Mississauga, Ontario.


Flying Colours appoints Richard Dabkowski as Director of Quality Assurance.

Richard Dabkowski has been appointed as Director of Quality Assurance for the North American maintenance, refurbishment and completions business Flying Colours Corp. Richard, who will be based at the company’s Peterborough, ON. facility, reports directly to Tony Barrett, Vice President, Technical Services, Flying Colours Corp.


Flying Colours Corp. completes first Pro Line 21™ Advanced installation

The avionics team of Flying Colours Corp., the North American MRO business, has completed its first installation of a Rockwell Collins, Pro Line 21™ Advanced avionics suite for the flight deck of a Bombardier Challenger 300. The fitting of the state-of-the-art cockpit upgrade was carried out in conjunction with a scheduled heavy maintenance check at the Flying Colours Corp. KSUS, St Louis, MO. The aircraft was returned to the private customer on time and on budget.


Flying Colours Corp. KSUS begins first phase of expansion at St. Louis facility

Ahead of this year’s NBAA-BACE, Flying Colours – booth N5908 - announced today that the third phase of the Canadian company’s long-term expansion strategy has begun as work is under way on the first round of infrastructure development at its St. Louis, MO. facility. The project will include the addition of a new building, the upgrading of several back shops, a doubling in size of the cabinetry workshop and a workforce growth of 30%.
